2. What qualifications or experience
do I need to become a host parent?
No specific qualifications are necessary however,
host parents need to be highly motivated and interested
in giving families a break. Any relevant or specific
training required will be provided by Have a Break. Back To Top
2 member of the committee will visit you at home approximately 3 times to complete the assessment. All appointments are made in consultation with families and usually last 1 - 1.5 hours. Back To Top
5. Do you need to meet our children
as part of the assessment process?
Yes, we like to include the children in the process
and usually arrange to meet for a short conversation,

get paid expenses?
